REAL GHOST STORIES
(THE ONLY TIME IN MY LIFE I REALLY GOT SCARED)

I believe in real ghost stories.

The following happened to me one night while studying for final exams.

I lived in a house where weird noises were common. Feelings of being constantly observed were not unusual. Other members of my family as well, had perceived at certain times inexplicable shadows.

Since I stayed awake for long hours studying every night, I was used to hearing so many noises that sometimes were confused sounds. Sometimes the radio stereo was shut off. I usually had the sensation as if someone were observing me. I felt someone looking at me from the living room situated on a lower level from the area of the house where I was doing my homework.

One night,  while I was in the kitchen preparing myself a cup of coffee, an unfamiliar noise made me turn around. A cabinet door had just been opened! Each door had magnets so, how this could be possible? it was obvious that some kind of minimum energy was needed to open it.

However, that unusual event didn't scared me at all. I just went on preparing my coffee. When suddenly something really strange happened...!

The big rectangular table made out of walnut was moved up and down!! it was as if someone had just shaken it violently!

I was so startled! it was the first time I ever really felt fear. As an impulse I grabbed an image of Jesus which I held so close to my chest and I started praying.

Some time passed before I calmed down. Praying was a great help.

That was it.

The only time in my life that I really got scared.
